Here's hoping that everyone had a relaxed and fun-filled holiday!
In less than two months I'll be performing at the Chico Women's Center, where I look forward to interacting with a lot of great friends, colleagues and other musicians (details available here). A couple of guest musicians will be appearing, including Caleb Hermle, a local cellist, and (hopefully!) Vince Chambers, who seems to be on board to sing one of the vocal arrangements to a song I've written.
The tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door, or they can be purchased early at the Music Connection in Chico, starting on Saturday, December 30th. I just recently finalized the play list and decided which pieces I'll be performing, and in which order. What I'm particularly excited about is the fact that there will be a decent amount of variety, not just because of the two guest musicians but also because I plan to play the violin for one of the numbers, and because one of the songs will be the piano cover of "Mad World" by Tears for Fears, which seemed to generate positive feedback when I performed it during one of my "Piano Thor'sday" broadcasts.
The show will start at 7pm but I plan to have the doors open at 6:30. I'll have more information and updates soon, so be sure to check back and I hope to see you at the show! -T.
